Nothing But Your Love
Toshi fuses a classic soul vibe with futuristic funk to create the title
track. The ultramodern urban radio hook will catch everyone singing along.
Masquerade
Produced by The Roots, this track has a lot of soul yet you can still groove
to it on the dance floor.
Never Turn Back
Pras' rhyme shines as Soulshock & Karlin production combined with Toshi's
lead vocal take you back to the time of the Stylistics' flavorful days.
Body Bounce
A live-sounding party jam with a nod to the Zapp anthem "More Bounce to the
Ounce" and produced by yet another Philly fixture, Joe "The Butcher" Nicolo
of Schooly D and Cypress Hill fame.
Someday
A ballad worthy of heavy quiet storm rotation. Angie Stone and Toshi came
together to capture the feel of early '70s Motown with an almost spiritual
message of one world under a groove.
Till She Comes
Toshi combines with The Roots to create a bouncy, flavorful track with
seductive lyrics that maintain Toshi's a smooth edge.
Pu Pu
This quirky yet smooth track features a colaberation of Angie Stone, Raphael
Saadiq, and Toshi. Guaranteed to bang in the clubs, lounges, and jeeps.
Interlude
Very traditional Japanese funk.
Sha-Ba-Da-Bu-Doo
The hard drum track coupled with Toshi's jazzy vocal gives the song a rough
but funky edge. You'll definitely sing along with this one.
Shame
Raphael's flavor is all over this track. Reminiscent of the old Tony Toni
Tone ballads, Toshi communicates his affection.
I Just Can't Get Enough
Not too slow, not too fast, but just right. Toshi shows his versatility by
creating a track that has ballad like song structure, but can be played for
the dancefloor.
It's Over
This street-edged lament of broken romance includes hip-hop's "vinyl junkies"
the Track Masters as well as the mellifluous and verbose Punchline and
Wordsworth.
Gently
This is a classic Diane Warren ballad done in Toshi's unmistakable voice.
